Kathy Stone is very proud to be the director of Atlanta Harmony Celebration! For her, it is a dream coming true.

Kathy has been singing barbershop for over 30 years. Her mom joined a Sweet Adelines, Inc. barbershop chorus while they lived in New Jersey, and introduced Kathy to this art form. Kathy says she had to learn to sing lead because her mom sang baritone and needed someone with which to harmonize. Kathy performed in her first barbershop show when she was just ten years old.

Before starting AHC!, Kathy was proud to be a member of another Harmony, Inc. chorus here in Georgia. There she was Music Team Chair and Assistant Director. Previous to being a Harmony, Inc. member, Kathy was a Sweet Adeline for 15 years as director and a member of a local Sweet Adelines chorus. She held numerous positions within that chorus including show chairman, assistant section leader, section leader, assistant director and director. As director, the chorus won their Regional Competition and qualified to go to International Competition.

Besides being Our Director, Kathy has a husband, two kids, a dog, is self-employed and is a Certified Music Judge for Harmony, Inc.
